Albany-- An East Albany woman says she and her teenage daughter lost everything, when her mobile home was torched.

Annette Merriweather was called Tuesday morning at her family reunion in Turner County, and told there was a fire in her home on Mobile Avenue. Fire Investigators say it was definitely arson.

Firefighters were called to the home about 4:30AM. Annette says some of her things are missing, so she wonders if someone set the fire to cover up a burglary. "Some items are missing," said Annette Merriweather. "I don't know what the intention was, or whatever. All I know is that we are homeless today." Merriweather said.

Everything she and her daughter own was destroyed in the fire. She has lived in this home since 1998, and said she had never had any problems before.
