Hours change for the sale of alcohol

Albany- Albany convenience stores can now extend the hours they sell alcohol. The city commission amended the alcohol sales ordinance for convenience stores.

You can now buy beer and wine until 2:30 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Alcohol sales resume again at eight Monday morning.

Bars and restaurants that sell alcohol must stop selling drinks after 2:55 a.m. but can stay open as late as four a.m.
