Thomasville-- A 15 year old boy could spend the rest of his life behind bars for molesting a four year old girl in Thomasville.

Police say Lorenzo Patterson was 14 when he pulled the girl into some woods, then sodomized and beat her last spring. Patterson was charged with aggravated sodomy, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, and aggravated child molestation. He was also charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and damage to government property.

Patterson was sentenced to life in prison. The girl had to have three surgeries because of her injuries. She is expected to make a full recovery.
