Lee County- American General Financial Services is sponsoring a back-to-school charity drive. Both the Leesburg and Albany branches are collecting school supplies for children.

"By the community pitching in and bringing by these items to the children that need these it's just a great opportunity for everybody to be happy. We're happy, we're making the community happy, and we're making some children's future a little bit brighter," says charity drive coordinator Carla Hawkins.

A list of needed supplies can be picked up at Wal-mart. Both drop off sites are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:30 PM.
