South Georgia Wildcat fans continue their support

June 25, 2005

Albany- Despite the team's struggles, South Georgia Wildcat fans continue to support the team. Again, faithful tailgaters returned to the Civic Center parking lot to prepare for Saturday's South Georgia Wildcats game.

The team is two and ten and replaced their head coach two weeks ago. Despite all the teams troubles fans have remained loyal. Albany Mayor, Willie Adams says, he encouraged that home game attendance has always been over six thousand and expects big things from the team in the future.

"This year has not been one of winning. But we certainly expect that next year they're going to win. This year has been more about entertainment and we're certainly having a good time," said Adams.

The Wildcats have only four games left in the regular season. Fans will have two more chances to see the Wildcats play at home.
