Albany-- A local modeling agency is putting aside the fashion for a fundraiser.

When Yaz Photography and Modeling Agency found out that a local teen was in need they quickly stepped in. 17-year-old Fred Kinsey was diagnosed with lupus about a year and a half ago and undergoes dialysis three times a week.

It's a tough disease that brings huge medical bills. Volunteers are washing cars and collecting money to help offset those costs.

"We want to help lift his spirit. We want to tell him that hey it's going to be a brighter day. There is a brighter day," says organizer Yaz Johnson.

"He's a well deserving young man and it's sad that he has the disease and he's fighting it but we're helping him out in some little way," says model Lillian Robinson.

Fred is unable to go to school or participate in usual teenager activities because of the disease. The modeling agency tries to do several things throughout the community on a regular basis.
