Fatal wreck in Coffee County

Coffee County-- A wreck in Coffee County leaves one man dead.

It happened about 1:30 Friday morning. 36-year-old Talmadge Earl Pinson was driving on Highway 32 East of Douglas when he lost control of his 1988 Jeep Cherokee.

Investigators say Pinson ran off one side of the road, came back and then went off the other side of the road. He then rolled over and hit a tree.

Pinson was from Douglas.

    Former Dougherty District Attorney and Albany native Ken Hodges received the endorsement of a number of South Georgia law enforcement officials Monday. Hodges is running for the non partisan court of appeals seat in Tuesday's election.
