Mrs. Margaret Gleaton Cannington, of 561 Ivey St, Dawson, died Saturday at Dawson Manor. Her funeral service will be Monday 11 AM at Oakfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born and raised in Oakfield, she graduated from Warwick High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson.
Mrs. Cannington was a very sweet and generous lady and a wonderful mother.
Survivors include her son, Roy Cannington, Dawson; daughter, Gloria Nesbit, Smithville; grandchildren Shannon Nesbit and Jason Nesbit, Smithville, great grandson, Dallas Nesbit; and sisters Elizabeth Jones, Cairo and Judy Connell, Plant City, FL.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 3 PM at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors.
