Funeral home holds reading program

June 21, 2005

Albany- Superior Court Judge Willie Lockette read several stories to children in the J.L. Litman Reading Under the Big Top summer program.

The children meet twice a week to read books, and each week a new guest reader shares a story with the group.

"When we go back to school we'll be able to pronounce words, know words before we go back to school and then when we go over the same words we'll know," says nine year old Willie Sales.

The 6-week program is free and spots are still available. It's open to all children 6 and older. For more information contact the J.L. Litman Memorial Funeral Home.
