Lowndes County - A North Georgia woman was killed in a crash near Valdosta over the weekend.
Fifty-four year old Gary McCool was driving his Ford Explorer north on I-75 near the Georgia/Florida line Saturday morning when his tire blew out and he lost control. The S.U.V. flipped several times and his wife, 55-year-old Darenda McCool of Conyers, was killed.
