Dougherty Co.--- It has been quite a spring for Darton College Brandon Anthony.
After finishing fourth in the NJCAA Division II tournament in Scottsboro, Alabama last month, Anthony wins the Albany Amateur Open.
Anthony, who will play for Troy State next year, shot a 70 in the third and final round played at River Pointe Country Club to beat Brent Dorner by three shots in the championship flight. Mike Cooper finished in third.
Anthony, who had a hole in one in Friday's first round, finished the tournament with a birdie at the 18th hole.
Abby Fitzgerald shot a 78 to win the ladies first flight with a score of 243.
