Albany- Albany Police break up a shoplifting ring at a popular outlet store. Managers at Beall's Outlet Store on North Slappey called police after surveillance video caught four clerks stealing merchandise.

Investigators say, Supervisor Willie Harris helped Tamika Johnson, Juana Jones, and Darra Goldsmith steal clothing and other items.

"He would allow co-workers to come through his register and get items and merchandise without paying, totally wouldn't pay or sometimes he would ring up a lower price for a higher priced item," said Sgt. Gregory Elder, Albany Police Department.

Police recovered about a thousand dollars in merchandise from suspects homes Thursday. They say much of the clothing will be hard to recover but believe the thefts amounted to more than two thousand dollars. Three of the suspects face felony theft charges.
