Tifton--A Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, man is dead after his motorcycle is hit head-on in Tifton Wednesday afternoon 65-year-old Gerald Gossert was traveling southbound at the intersection of U.S. Highway 319 and Bill Bowen Road, when his motorcycle was hit head-on by a Honda Civic driven by 17-year-old Cody Abott.

Abott, whose car was traveling north, veered into the southbound lane striking Gossert's motorcycle, throwing him from the bike. Gossert was pronounced dead at the scene, and investigators have charged Abott with second-degree vehicular homicide, as well as failure to yield turning left.
