Thomasville- A four-year-old boy in Thomas County is so good at hide and seek, even sheriff's deputies couldn't find him.

Dozens of deputies canvassed a neighborhood just outside Thomasville for Wade Howell early Wednesday morning. They were joined by a search party of residents. WALB reporter Stephen Ryan was in Howell's home getting a description of the boy when he noticed a toy truck fall from an ottoman. The boy's grandmother then peeked under it to find Howell hiding beneath. His mother says she's just relieved he's ok. "I can't express it in words. I really had no idea where he was. I just thought somebody had gotten him. I'm just thankful for all the help from the sheriff's department," says Amy Howell.

The search was such a priority, a dive team had been called because there's a lake behind Howell's house. Deputies say all they care about is that it wasn't needed, and that the boy is safe. He was missing for just over an hour.
