City Manager search narrows

June 15, 2005

Albany - The search for a new Albany city manager is narrowed to five or six people. Commissioners hired Atlanta-based Slavin Management for $13,000 to narrow down the field of applicants.

City commissioners will interview the finalists on July 14th and 15th, before choosing a new city manager.

Water, Gas, and Light General Manager Lem Edwards has served as interim city manger since Janice Allen Jackson left in January.
