Fitzgerald- East Central Tech president Diane Harper's sister and daughter-in-law are on the payroll at the college. Both are earning between $21,000 and $27,000.
A spokesperson for the state Department of Technical and Adult Education policy prohibits presidents from hiring immediate relatives.
Harper is one of 5 technical school presidents ordered to remove any relatives from their payrolls. She could not be reached for comment.
