Sex offender's appeal heard by Supreme Court

June 13, 2005

Albany - A South Georgia man, caught with child pornography, is appealing his conviction.

Forty-one-year-old James Tennille of Baker County is serving five years in prison. He was convicted last year of 12 counts of sexual exploitation of children, after investigators found dozens of child pornography pictures on his computer.

His lawyer appealed and Monday morning, the Georgia Supreme Court heard arguments. A decision isn't expected until a month from now.
