Albany- A little bit of rain didn't keep some people from barking at the moon in the name of charity.

The Albany Humane Society held its fifth annual Bark at the Moon fundraiser. Money raised at tonight's event helps the humane society do more than just cover operating costs.

"This money is used to for animal enrichment programs. Things of that sort, things that we want to do outside of just basic operations. Things that better the lives of the animals in our care," said Donna Strickland, Executive Director.

The event included a band, oyster bar, and silent auction. Various business donated pet items to raise money for the humane society.
