Bainbridge- Bainbridge College is among only six colleges and universities in Georgia to participate in a new initiative to boost the number of minorities earning bachelors degrees in specific fields.
Beginning this fall, the schools will collaborate on projects to better prepare under represented minorities for careers in four fields. The program is only tailored to those trying to earn degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math.
It was made possible through a 4.9 million dollar grant from the National Science Foundation.
