June 9, 2005 Albany--- The Albany Humane Society is preparing for it's 5th annual "Bark At The Moon" event. From a full stage they plan to have live entertainment featuring the group Superstition. There will be an old fashioned fish fry from White's seafood, a raw oyster bar, and much more.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Albany Humane Society. They even have a special brand of Dog House wine. Local distributor's will donate money for every bottle that's sold in the month of June. A silent auction will offer people a chance to buy and donate.

Lastly, you get a tour of the shelter, and can participate in the ribbon cutting for the new Dougherty County shelter opening up next door. You don't want to miss this big event and they are expecting a large crowd so you want to get your tickets early. Tickets are 25.00 and can be purchased by calling 888-pets. They plan to offer a doggy dog good time!!!
