Mitchell County - The wreck happened around 5:45 Saturday afternoon on Tuten Road in Mitchell County.

Troopers with the Georgia State Patrol say 17 year old Matthew Dunn of Baconton was Westbound on Tuten Road when he attempted a U-turn in front of a car driven by 30 year old Sebastian Gaspar of Camilla. The vehicle hit the scooter, critically injuring Matthew Dunn and his five year old sister Barney. Both were taken to Phoebe Putney hospital in Albany, Matthew Dunn died Sunday afternoon.

Gaspar has been charged with hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while unlicensed.
