Leesburg--The Lee County Trojans will have a chance to celebrate their first state baseball championship on their home field. The Trojans will host the Quad-A state title series this Tuesday and Wednesday against Henry County.
The top ranked Trojans earned the right to host the series after Henry County defeated Heritage 6-5 Saturday to win the series two games to one. Since the Warhawks are a lower seed then Lee County, the Trojans get the home field advantage.
Lee County head coach Rob Williams says the Trojans and Warhawks will play a doubleheader at 4:00pm Tuesday with the 'if needed' game scheduled for 4:00pm Wednesday.
