Thomas County- An elderly man is thrown over 100 feet after being struck by a car in Thomas County.
Seventy five year old Otto McCullough of Ft. Lauderdale was walking along US 19 just north of Seary Road when he was hit by an oncoming motorist.
The driver was traveling in the outside lane when she struck McCollugh. He hit the hood of the car and traveled over the vehicle landing on the roadway more than 100 feet from where he was struck.
He died of injuries related to the crash. The driver has not been charged.
