Albany - Dougherty County's second most visited library is moving to a larger home. The county bought the old Rhodes Furniture building on Dawson Road for $2.5-million to use as Northwest Library Branch.

Relocation from the current branch on Barnesdale Way will begin as soon as some renovations to the new building are finished. The entire project will cost about $4.4-million. The Northwest branch sees the second most traffic behind the main branch downtown.
