Albany-- Dougherty County Superior Court Judge Stephen Goss sentenced 24-year-old Jamie White to prison after White entered a plea Tuesday.

White plead guilty to two counts of cruelty to a child, after he violently shook two babies.

The first incident occurred in May of 2001, and the second in November of 2002, in Dougherty County. One of the children has a permanent brain damage as a result of the shaking.

White was sentenced to 23 years in state prison, to serve ten.
