Lake Blackshear- It was worship on the water as boaters gathered to bless their boats. Sunday was the third service held dockside at the Resort at Lake Blackshear.

All are welcome whether you come by land or by boat. For those that come by boat it's a chance to ask for safety as they enjoy time on the water.

"We believe that recreation is a part of life's beauty and joy and we're going to ask blessings for everyone's summer and for safety and for rest and recreation," said Bill Stewart,St. Stephens Episcopal Church.

The Sunday services will continue through Labor Day. The service is an outreach ministry of Christ Episcopal Church in Cordele.
