Abilene,Tx.- Albany State freshman Levern Spencer lived up to her number one seed.
Spencer wins the women's high jump at the NCAA Division II track and field meet at Abilene Christian.
Spencer was the only entrant to have cleared six feet this season and in the NCAA meet she cleared 6' 1 1/4" to earn the Lady Rams ten points.
Spencer also on Friday qualified for the finals in the women's 200 meter dash.
Albany State sophomore Greg Bolden was the fastest qualifier in the men's 100 meter dash.
The finals for all track events are Saturday.
