Cordele-- While deputies were responding to a possible Arson at Ebenezer Baptist Church, they saw 41-year-old Daniel Thomas Sylvester coming out of an abandoned building on Rain Station Road.

He ran from authorities, and they chased him into the woods. Officers used police dogs to flush him out, where they took him into custody.

A pick-up Truck with trailer had been parked below the church, which was later discovered to have been stolen from a citizen in Perry.

Sheriff Donnie Haralson said that Daniel Sylvester, of Warner Robins, is facing burglary and arson charges in Crisp County, and is also being questioned for arson and vehicle theft by Perry Authorities.
