Valdosta - A South Georgia food bank needs your help to feed the hungry.

America's Second Harvest in Valdosta needs volunteers to process food and medicine, stock shelves, and mail out donation information. The summer is one of the food bank's busiest times, but its also the time of year when they have the least amount of volunteers.

"A lot of the groups that participate during the school year are broken up for the summer, Moody personnel are gone, the VSU students are out, so we're missing a lot of our large groups," said Jennifer Glisson.
