Albany-- Another person has died as a result of injuries she sustained in a wreck on U. S. 19 last Friday. Thirty-five-year-old Rosa Carillo died Tuesday night of head injuries at a local hospital.
Now a second charge of misdemeanor Homicide by vehicle will be levied against 33-year-old-Angela Wright, who was driving the vehicle that caused the accident.
"We are not clear on how fast the speeds were, or the cause of the distraction, or anything that caused them to hit the rear of the other vehicle," said Dougherty Co. Police Sgt. J. C. Phillips. "The only thing we know for certain right now is that there was a rear end collision."
Wright's SUV rear-ended 24-year-old Andree Charfen's Ford Explorer, killing Charfen and injuring his wife and three passengers. No one in Wright's SUV was hurt.
