Cairo- The State Supreme Court has upheld the conviction of a double murderer.

     Roy Bridges was convicted five years ago of the stabbing deaths of his wife and mother-in-law in December 1997. The women were killed in his mother-in-law's home in Whigham.

     Bridges was sentenced to two life terms.
