Leesburg-- A Lee County National Guardsman has been acquitted of child molestation charges by a Lee County jury this morning.
Fifty-three-year-old Julian Hardy Taylor of Leesburg was arrested in 2002 at the Marine Corps Logistics Base where he was a civilian materiels handler at Fleet Support Division.
A Lee County grand jury indicted Taylor for molesting a 16-year-old girl several times, but the current jury found him not guilty today.
A jury convicted a Crisp County man on two counts of child molestation Friday. The jury came back with a guilty verdict for Hermenegildo Virgil Friday.
