Albany- Woodall's on North Slappey sees 4 or 5 drive offs a week.

The owner says he caught someone driving off from the pump Monday morning without paying for 19 dollars worth of gas. For that small amount, the driver can lose his license for a year and pay an even bigger fine.

"Anytime it happens, it's a problem and it's expensive. You just try to minimize and police it as much as you can and prosecute when you can," says station owner Wright Woodall.

From January through March, there were about 65 gas-drive offs in Albany alone.
