Albany- Despite not being about to move most of her body, she let's her voice soar. Stephanie Leavins was born with Muscular Dystrophy and has spent her entire life in a wheelchair.
Doctors initially told Stephanie's family she would not survive and should be placed in a children's home. Her parents believed in her and Sunday, she sang for the congregation at Albany Grace Church of the Nazarene.
Her father says, Stephanie continues to conquer obstacles to spread her message.
"She does more with her disability, with her life excluding the disability, she is constant going and enjoys life," said Earl Leavins, Stephanie's Father.
Despite her handicap, she's traveled all over the United States and has made nine CDs and 12 tapes.
