Dougherty County -- An Albany man was killed, four other people injured in a two car crash in Southern Dougherty County Friday morning.

A Ford Expedition rear ended a Ford Explorer on U.S. 19 South at Williamsburg Road . The Explorer lost control and overturned.

The driver, 24 year old Eric Charsen, was killed. His wife and three passengers in the car were injured, but not seriously.

33 year Angela Wright of Albany was the driver of the Expedition. She and her two children were not hurt. She says they pulled in front of her. Dougherty County Police Sgt. J.C. Phillips said "According the witnesses the Green Expedition was going at a high rate of speed. We are not going to investigate exactly how fast they were going, because it's not really relevant to the accident right now."

Investigators say everyone was wearing a seatbelts.
