Albany - Henry Mathis is back on the sidelines of the Albany City Commission. He's been re-suspended while awaiting trial on extortion charges. Dorothy Hubbard has again been tapped to fill in on the Ward Two seat.
Mathis is accused of extorting money from three Albany business people. Mathis was previously suspended, but re-instated when his trial was delayed. His federal trial is scheduled to begin in two and a half weeks.
