Valdosta - South Georgians are hopping on their Harleys to help fight a deadly disease.

Ambling Company is sponsoring its first annual Poker Run for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Saturday. Registration for the ride starts at noon and Charley O'Corley's and the last bike pulls out at 1:30.

The bikers will collect poker cards from three different locations and whoever ends up with the best hand wins $500. All the proceeds will help fund research for Cystic Fibrosis.

"Our ultimate goal for the year is $125,000 so we're going to have different wrap-around events throughout the year to reach that goal," said Anna Moritz, Organizer.

After the poker run, there will be a live auction and raffle at Charley O'Corleys, and free entertainment by Skannyardle.
