Albany - Star Wars fan are packing theaters across the country to see Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. A midnight showing of the movie brought hundreds of people to Albany Wynnsong theater Thursday.

John Magyer, of Albany, watched the movie Thursday night with Princess Amidala and a wookie - a lot of fans dressed up as their favorite character. Thursday afternoon, he's back to take his nephew Miles to see what he calls the best of the last three Star Wars Episodes.

He explains the atmosphere in the theater last night. "It was just really hushed. It was sort of like a midnight mass. Everybody was in an awe of silence, then we everybody left there was a lot of chitter-chatter back and forth," said Magyer.

The Wynnsong Theater has 21 showings of Star Wars Episode Three each day. It's playing on five movie screens.
