Thomasville- Thomas County Drug Agents were tipped off that 24-year-old Cedric Robinson was about to make a marijuana delivery, so they staked out the apartment complex on East Pinetree Boulevard, and waited.

They had the complex under surveillance when Robinson drove in, but drove back out without stopping. Officers followed, and attempted to stop him, but Robinson refused to get out of the Suburban.

An officer broke out a window and tried to get in the SUV, but Robinson sped off in an attempt to get away, with in the officer still hanging on to the door. The officer quickly turned loose, and was not injured.

When lawmen finally got him stopped, they confiscated $800 in cash from Robinson, and collected a gallon plastic bag stuffed with marijuana, and another 4-ounce container of pot.

Robinson has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony obstruction, felony attempting to elude, and two counts of misdemeanor obstruction of an officer.

Cedric Robinson is now in the Thomasville jail. Bond has not been set.
