Albany-- Dougherty County authorities arrested three men Wednesday in a domino-effect, after the initial suspect was being taken in for violating his probation.
When officers went to the home of 24-year-old Corey Davis to arrest him, they had to wake him up. While they were in his room, one of the officers saw a small amount of marijuana on his dresser, and that charge was added to the probation warrant.
Davis gave up the name of his supplier, and warrants were taken for 19-year-old Sherrod Hodges, who lives at Oak Grove Estates on Moultrie Road. The arrest of Hodges also led them to discover two pounds of pot, along with scales and a supply of plastic bags in the possession of Monroe High senior and former football player Darrian Fedd, 18.
Fedd was set to graduate from Monroe High on Saturday.
Now, all three men are in the Dougherty County jail. Davis faces probation violation and marijuana possession charges, while Hodges and Fedd face charges of marijuana possession, and possession with intent to distribute.
