Lee's Griffin signs with Georgia State

Leesburg - Lee County softball standout Nichole Griffin signed a scholarship with Georgia State University this afternoon.

Griffin was a two-time all region performer for Lynn Avery's Lady Trojans her sophomore and junior seasons.

Griffin was Lee County's leading hitter with a 408 batting average in 2003.
