Thomasville- A suspected meth dealer is off the streets of Thomasville.

     Drug agents arrested Jason Avera after running a surveillance operation on his home. They moved in after the 30 year old pulled into his driveway. Agents say that's when they made a significant find. "We searched him and found a quantity of methamphetamine in his pants pocket. We also searched a black pick up truck that was in the yard and found four bags of marijuana," says Thomasville / Thomas County Drug Squad commander, Kevin Lee.

     Avera is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute. He's also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He's out of jail on a $10,100 bond.
