Albany- Saturday's Wildcat's game was the last broadcast for Real Rock 97.3 as we know it.

After the game, the station started running a countdown, but what is it counting towards? Station sources say, it's a new format that's expected to be more adult contemporary. Rock fans say they're sorry to hear about the change.

"You can change to other rock stations, but all they have is old soft rock on there, but guess we'll just have to see," said Scott Belanger, Leesburg.

The new format will start when the countdown is complete. Station sources say former Q-101 radio personality Jasmine Phoenix is expected to be part of the changeover. The station is still expected to carry the Wildcat's games.
