Albany - A big day for the Flint Riverquarium and a very special visitor. Everybody cheered as the 100,000th visitor walked in Riverquarium Friday afternoon.

Flint the Turtle gave Jimmy Rush, of Albany, a gift basket full of goodies and a free family one-year membership. "It's nice, it's nice. I was just doing a scouting report for my grandbabies, so I can come bring them down here," said Jimmy Rush.

The Riverquarium opened in September. Director Doug Noble hoped to see 150,000 visitors in the first year. Students from 34 Georgia countries have already toured the Flint Riverquarium. There are more than 2,200 members.
