Thomasville- Narcotics agents say they arrested Maurice Williams and Stanley Toombs last night with more than three ounces of crack on them.

They were caught at a driver's license checkpoint. The crack dropped from Toombs' shorts when he got out to talk to a sheriff's deputy. Drug agents say it was a significant find. "If you took an ounce of crack, you could easily make 35 hundred dollars off it if you put it in 20 dollar pieces. So, you're talking about nine to 10,000 dollars work of crack," says Thomasville / Thomas County Drug Squad commander, Kevin Lee.

Williams and Toombs have been charged with trafficking cocaine. They're being held without bond. Drug agents say both men were big suppliers in Thomas County.
