Tifton- The University of Georgia held its fourth annual Ag Awareness Day at the Tifton campus.
More than 750 elementary students got a hands-on lesson in everything from dairy production to planting seeds.
"Anything that has to do with agriculture and the environment that we live in, we try to give them an up close and personal contact with it where they will know where our food and fiber comes from," says organizer Benjie Baldree.
Organizers say the event has gotten so large the University will have to look at ways to expand and bring in additional presenters.
