Ben Hill County- A Ben Hill County man could live the rest of his life with a bullet in his head after a shooting in his home.
Jimmy Merritt remains in critical condition at a Macon hospital. His wife found him Wednesday night in their home on Highway 90.
He had been shot once in the head. Sheriff's investigators are trying to sort out the details. They say, the gunshot was not self-inflicted, but they won't say much else. Merritt underwent surgery, but the bullet could not be removed.
