Dawson - Terrell Academy's Kate Stewart has been an all-star basketball, softball and tennis player for the Lady Eagles.
Stewart's best sport is equestrian and she is also one of the top horseback riders in the nation.
Stewart's talent in the saddle has earned a scholarship with the University ofGeorgia equestrian team, that has won two national championships in their first three years of competition.
Ranked in the top ten by the National Reining Horses Association last year, Kate has been riding horses since she was three years old.
And sometime she found time to practice her riding after coming home from one of her many practices and games at school.
Kate Stewart said "I finish my practice and go home and have to stay at the barn until everything is done. It is just like living on a farm. The work is never done. You just make the time."
Kate Stewart was also begin recruited by Auburn and South Carolina. The Gamecocks beat Georgia for the national equestrian title this year.
