    A Valdosta man born and raised in Moore, Oklahoma says his family and friends there are all okay. He grew up just two miles from the hardest hit area of town.

Albany- Tuesday night, city commissioners approved a Police Department Review Board.

It will be made up of nine members who will respond to complaints against law officers of the City of Albany. The independent group will assess three areas of abusive language, excessive force, and harassment from officers.

They'll pass their findings along to supervisors who will choose whether or how to discipline officers.
