Valdosta - Police are looking for two gunmen who robbed a store and assaulted a clerk over the weekend.

Around 9:00 Saturday night, two men armed with pistols walked into J and K Foods on Northside Drive and demanded money. They pistol whipped one of the clerks and ran out with a large amount of cash.

"The only description they were able to give is that they were both wearing black clothing and had some article of clothing wrapped around their heads," said Lt. Bernard Robinson.

No one else was in the store when it was robbed. The clerk that was assaulted was not seriously injured.
